House A

This end-terraced house in Hanover built in 1935 and undergoing historical changes was converted and extended into two independently usable residential units. After wartime destruction the ground floor was rebuilt in 1949, later in 1960 the upper floor and rooftop were added. Now, the basement and the ground floor form a unit as well as the upper floor and the rooftop.

Construction: Lowering of the basement footing with extensive measures concerning bearing walls and the foundation, demolition of all installations, renewal of all technical installations, new wooden windows

Surfaces: smoothed fine plaster, maple parquet, white matte glass for doors
